Custom Slate Coaster  

This personalized slate coaster was designed in Adobe Illustrator, using precise vector paths and custom typography to play off the iconic “Godfather” theme. The design features puppet strings above bold lettering, with the last name “GRIFFIN” nested in a stylized banner for a tailored family gift or novelty item.

After creating and finalizing the layout in Illustrator, the design was exported as a vector file compatible with LightBurnand sent to a 5-watt diode laser engraver. The graphic was engraved directly onto a natural black slate coaster, with laser settings optimized for clean, high-contrast results without burning or overexposing the stone.

The final result is a permanent, tactile engraving that blends bold branding with a humorous, personal twist.
